* EGSM = extended GSM. The EGSM operating frequency extends 10 MHz lower on the 900 band. If the operator has access to this bandwidth, it can expand the network capacity. The mobile phone must also support the lower bandwidth to make use of the expansion.

Power Management

Variation in operation times will occur depending on SIM card, network settings and usage. Talk time is increased by up to 30% if Half Rate is active, and reduced by 5% if Enhanced Full Rate is active.
